The MLB General Manager bases their scoring off a H2H points basis. This means that in a given match-up whichever team scores the most points overall will be awarded with the win. The best team is not always the team that will win, there are hot teams and cold teams as well as streaky teams but only one can come out on top.
Here are the scoring categories the MLB General Manager will be using:
Batting:
Singles 1 Doubles 2 Triples 3 Home Runs 4 Walks 1 Runs Scored 1 RBI 1 Stolen Bases 2 Strikeouts -0.5 Caught Stealing -1
Pitching:
Innings Pitched 3 Earned Runs -1 Wins 5 Saves 3.5 Strikeouts 0.5 Hits Allowed -1 Walks Issued -0.5 Hit Batsmen -0.5 Holds 2
There is a 10 start per week starting pitcher limit.
The Road to the World Series
