Each team in the league will begin with a $130M salary cap, however there will also be a $50M salary cap floor to make sure teams remain competitive. This floor must be made up of player salaries on your current roster.
We will be using Cot's Contracts for players salaries. All contracts can be found at this link: mlbcontracts.blogspot.com/
Every team must be under the cap by the start of the season. If you are over the cap you will receive a penalty. The penalty is to lose your highest scoring player for that matchup.
Note: There are no no-trade clauses in this league. You are therefore free to trade any player you like once we open trading after the draft. Also all options in players contracts automatically become team options in this league.
